Q. How do I order a sample?
A. We prefer to receive sample requests by either fax or e-mail, at least when we have it in writing there is less chance of mistakes being made. Naturally if you are unable to send a fax or e-mail please phone us on 01689 898 828.

Q. How do I place an order?
A. All orders must be in writing on corporate letterheaded paper or your standard company purchase order. We can accept either of the above via e-mail as PDF file. Please contact us if you wish to send an order via e-mail in any other format.

Q. I am not in the United Kingdom can I still buy from Calver?
A. Naturally, we welcome orders from anywhere in the World. There maybe certain export restrictions on some items. Delivery times will be longer than usual UK domestic deliveries.

Q. Can I collect my order?
A. We cannot give you simple yes or no answer for this. We don’t want to appear awkward but logistically this can be difficult. We feel that our courier/delivery charges are quite competitive so it will usually be just as cost effective for us to deliver goods for you. Please call us to discuss this option when placing your order.

Q. I would like one of your representatives to visit us?
A. That would be a pleasure. We are based in Kent so it may take us a few days to arrange a suitable appointment if you are not in London or the South East. Outside the UK - generally we would not in a position to send a representative but we would certainly to visit you given the opportunity.

Q. Can I pay by credit card?
A. Yes, we do accept payment by Mastercard, Visa or Switch. A. the credit card companies charges us a percentage of the transaction for using this service it can become quite expensive for larger orders. Usually for orders over £ 500.00 + VAT we would ask you to pay by either bank transfer (BACS) or company cheque.

Q. How long will my order take to be completed?
A. This very much depends on the type of products. We will usually give you a production time when quoting for the product. Standard production times for most stock products is 3 – 4 weeks from receipt of order & artwork but it is best to double-check delivery times with us before confirming your order. Imported and some bespoke products can take anything from 4 – 12 weeks depending on the type of product and quantity required. For example large items such as bags will be brought by sea-container from the Far East so this can extend normal lead-times by about 4 weeks.

Q. How should I supply artwork?
A. We prefer to receive artwork in the following formats:

Adobe Illustrator EPS (up to version 9.0), with all text converted to outline.
Adobe Photoshop (version 5.5)
Quark Xpress 4.0

Please send artwork on CD/Disk/ZIP by post or e-mail to studio@calver.com. In both cases please send us a printout of your artwork if possible, simple designs and black and white images can be faxed.
